Estimates
I will endeavour to provide as accurate an estimate as possible for the restoration or conservation of your object(s). Due to the nature of the work, every object is different and unforeseen complications can arise from time to time. If any work carried out exceeds the given estimate by more than 10%, I will inform you immediately.

Payment
Unless prior agreement has been made, payment should be made in full on collection/delivery of your object(s). I accept cash, cheque or BACS; however currently I am not able to accept debit/credit cards.

Delivery and Collections
You should collect your object(s) within three weeks or have made arrangements for its delivery once the restoration/conservation has been completed, after which a storage charge will be applied. If your objects are posted via Royal Mail Special Delivery or other form of courier, there will be a small packaging charge as well as the postal costs incured. 

In some cases, due to regular trips to both London and Birmingham, collection of your objects can be arranged from these cities.

After Care

The conservator can advise on the after care of your objects, but it is your responsibility to follow their guidelines.

Insurance
The studio has taken out a comprehensive Art Restorers and Conservators Insurance policy underwritten by Hiscox Underwriting Limited with your objects covered up to a value of £ 30,000. Should you require a further level of insurance for an individual object, this can be arranged and the necessary costs applied.
